The Jáki Society was also invited to the Catholic Builders AI Forum held at the Pontifical Gregorian University on November 6–7, 2025.

In his message to the participants, Pope Leo XIV emphasized the moral and spiritual responsibility of Catholics in the development of artificial intelligence. He posed the central question of what humanity is becoming through this technology. Quoting Antiqua et Nova, he reminded listeners that “artificial intelligence, like all human invention, springs from the creative capacity that God has entrusted to us.”

Technological innovation can therefore be understood as a form of participation in God’s creative work. For this reason, it carries profound ethical and spiritual weight: every design choice expresses a particular vision of what it means to be human.

Speaking on behalf of the Church, Pope Leo urged developers to “create systems that reflect justice, solidarity, and a genuine reverence for life […] and to place technology at the service of evangelization and the integral development of every person.”

According to Pope Leo, “intelligence — whether artificial or human — finds its fullest meaning in love, freedom, and relationship with God.”
